Muna Alhaway is the Director of Blood Transfusion & Research Center, and Nutrition Consultant at Emirates Health Services, also she is the Board Chairperson of Friends of Kidney Society under Supreme Council of Family Affairs in Sharjah and UAE’ Ministry of Community Development. She has more than 25 years experienced in Administration & Medical Leadership, and Nutrition at UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention’ hospitals such as AlQassimi General Hospital & AlQassimi Women’s and Children’s’ Hospital. During Covid19 Crisis, she was the Director of Covid19 clinical Trial Center at Sharjah, and the deputy Director of all the Isolation & Quarantine Hotels, and the main Supervisor of the Volunteers at the same period. Muna is a PhD researcher in Business Entrepreneurship at the University of Sharjah, and holds Master of Science in Hospital Management from Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University, and Bachelor of Food Science & Nutrition from UAE University. She is Graduated of the UAE Government Leadership Program (Future Leaders Category) under the Prime Minister Office, and also Graduated of Sharjah Leadership Program under Rubu’ Qarn for Creating future leaders and innovators. On the other hand, she was the winner of Sharjah Medical District’s Excellence Award 2018, and the innovator employee at Ministry of Health & Prevention 2020 Muna Trained a large number of students in Nutrition from different Universities in UAE, organized several Nutritional seminars and meetings, and participated in most of Nutrition Conferences in UAE as speaker and sessions’ chairperson, in addition of that she is an associate member of many scientific nutritional researches and publications in cooperation with various universities in UAE.
