Dr. Ghadeera has extensive experience in the field of Cardiology and special expertise in cardiac genetic and inheritable conditions, as well as in adult congenital heart disease. Her expertise also extends to pregnancy related heart disease. Dr. Ghadeera Al Mansoori, has established a network of highly specialized clinics to provide advanced care to patients born with heart defects, and she is actively is involved in the restructuring of the Congenital Heart Disease care at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City and Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City. The following are the areas of clinical practice:
-Adult Congenital Heart Disease Clinics: Dr. Ghadeera has established the first dedicated congenital clinic for adults in Abu Dhabi which has expanded to daily outpatients highly specialized clinics with wide network of referrals.
-Cardiac Genetic Clinic: Dr. Ghadeera Al Mansoori has set up the first unique Cardiac Genetic Clinic in UAE at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, which provides comprehensive cardiac genetic screening and advanced treatment plans for all forms of inherited cardiovascular disease including cardiomyopathies, inherited arrhythmias, sudden arrhythmic death syndrome (SADS) and aortic disease.
-Cardio-Obstetric Clinic: At Corniche Hospital, Dr. Al Mansoori is a member of multidisciplinary team of High Risk Obstetrician, Obstetric Medicine, Anesthesia and Adult Cardiology, the joint team specializes in high-risk pregnancy and cardiac-obstetric care.
She is currently the chair of the Emirates Society of Cardiology (ESC) Congenital and Genetic Heart Disease Working Group. Dr. Al Mansoori has undertaken numerous research projects focusing on adults with congenital heart disease and understanding the impact of Genetic and Congenital Heart Disease during adulthood.
